The more I look at that photo, the more it reminds me of a 4 x 4!  ;D  It looks like some good 'ol boys put a lift kit on that caboose! Look out, where's the flood! Better roll up my pant legs! haha!  :o
Yeah, looks like the neighbor's truck.  Oh yeah, and the other neighbor's, and the neighbor's on the other side of me, and across the street; basically 80% of the trucks around here.
I like ducks

Here is a picture of the amazing caboose made by David.

I can not believe I am seeing an N-5c in Z scale, every time I look at it.
It might be the first one.

Best wishes,
Anthony

That is a beautiful caboose! ;D Is it from etched brass carsides or styrene work?

hi robert,
i had two ends from when i made the wide vision caboose and so i fabricated sides out of styrene (and a coupola to go with it).  all styrene strips added to parts.  i'm glad you like it.  i got the bug to do something with the parts and when anthony (z scale monster) told me that was his favorite caboose, i thought "that's it!"

say, i was wondering, do you do "special" decal work  i need something pretty simple (black words) for my next big project.   i'm going to try to kitbash my UP SD70 flared into a SD70Ace Rio Grande heritage unit.   there's wording on the ends of these units, with a UP shield, that i just don't have a way to get done.

i can send you a picture if you think you could be interested.  my hope is that it will be a real show stopper.  if not, i'd appreciate a lead on someone who might be willing/able to do it.
thanks for considering it.  (and thanks for the hallmark wheel shims -- they work just great!).

have a good week,
dave f.

Send me a PM Dave, and a link to a picture of what lettering you want. I am doing some decals for someone else pretty soon, so I can probably fit that in easily.
