Took some Kiwi visitors to one of the local minature railways in the Adelaide suburbs at the weekend - the 7.25in Morphett Vake Railway.

John Wakefield's freelance 2-10-4, losely based on the South African 'Red Devil' 4-8-4

A cute freelance 2-6-2, an amalgam of Indian Railways and US narrow gauge influences I think?

Did someone say 'prototype'?

"Amelia" looks like she may be a Latin Lady from South America, i.e.  Brazil, Peru, Chile, or Argentina.

I have to admit-those are some of the best pan shots I've ever seen!
Great Job!

They're not "Crown Victorias"-they're known

A couple more from this weekend just past from the Regency Park Modellers...about 5 minutes drive from where I live.

A rather tasty Garratt whic is actually a cross between two South Australian Railway 620 class Pacifics back to back and one of the incredible Garratts that ran in Algeria.

Plus a cute little 0-4-0T
