The Z scalers on Trainboard really do seem to be starting their own socio-political system. There's another thread on theiir proclaiming their Great Society with phrases being thrown around like "state of the art" and "modelers scale" etc. Think someone even had a list of items on display at a recent show and commented that every square inch was filled with that state of the art equipment. Yeah, like wide body GP's and a mal-proportioned SW-1?
They cheer loudly, but I think Chris has done the only truely "state of the art" modeling. As far as manufacturers, AZL seems to be trying to keep the proportions in check, but other companies are treating the scale like the starved group of modelers that it is, and feeding them crap just because they'll put up with it. Is there no shame?
