Just received the latest TRAINS and Model Railroader today. In looking through TRAINS, there is a photo on Page 34 of a Northern Pacific local in Minnesota in October 1950 pulled by a Class "W" Mikado, with the locomotive in the standard 3/4 angle view. But, TRAINS identifies it as a "Consolidation"!!
Funny, I never knew Consolidations had inside bearing trailing trucks. (It is clearly visible in the photo.) Bad editing or lack of knowledge??
