I hate to start another row (MTL CSX gondola last year), but it sure looks BLACK sitting next to that BLUE thing!

I have one on order, and as part of my new years resolution to stop being worried
about such things, I will not be worried about this!

Naw .. B&O blue is a very dark blue, and when faded, it starts to look a little blacker .. plus, this is a 1999 photo, which probably was scanned using a flat bed scanner, there is always distortion on the colors .. I think MT got this one right ..

What is that blue thing?  Looks like an Alco S1-turned-slug.
I like ducks

Thanks, John.  That's the third photo now!  I got one at Curtis Bay with the car looking pretty beat up and also one direct from MTL which shows a much newer looking car, in the CSX dark blue.  That MTL supplied photo is undated and uncredited so I can't say any more about it.

The UMTRR for January is out the door, and in the commentary I noted that I was also concerned about the "hybrid" paint scheme being legit.  I confirmed in a couple of ways that it was.
