Chattanooga 2026 National T-TRAK Layout!

It’s a brand New Year and we’re even closer to our exciting world record breaking event - the Chattanooga 2026 National T-TRAK Layout, at the Scenic City Express NMRA 2026 National Convention’s National Train Show!!!
  There is no charge to register and participate in this record breaking event, and we’re making this a memorable event for all participants. All participants will receive a commemorative module plaque, ‘goody’ swag bag, one free raffle ticket for raffle item of their choice (there will be many awesome raffles!), elegible for numerous contest and award prizes (including the ScaleTrains ‘Best in Show’ module contest), and be elegible to purchase a commemorative Chattanooga 2026 tumbler, as well as purchase a ticket for the official ScaleTrains sponsored Awards breakfast Banquet, where the first 150 purchased ticket holders will receive a special ScaleTrains commemorative car!
  Your support helps us keep the event free to all participants AND helps us provide the 160+ tables needed for this record breaking layout, so that participants need only bring themselves, their modules, and their trains!
  Also, you can also participate in this incredible event, with full participant benefits, even if you don’t have a T-TRAK module! We welcome all railroad modelers to assist us and be a participant in whatever will surely be a memorable event!

We need workers/volunteers to manage and help coordinate a layout of this size and scope.

Greetings from the snowy Alabama Gulf Coast!
 As of today, January 23, 2025, we have over 100 participants, with modules, officially registered with participation forms for the 2026 Chattanooga National T-TRAK Layout!
AND there is room for more with a year and a half yet to go!
So far, over 500 modules are officially registered, with over 200 more ‘verbally’ committed (official participation forms not yet submitted), and there is room for more!
Please, if you are considering being a part of this record breaking event, complete and submit your participation form as soon as possible in order to guarantee a spot in the layout.
 I want to take a moment to clarify a point for all Chattanooga 2026 participants and those who are considering participating:
This is a participatory event. We expect officially registered particpants to fully participate in the layout; from official check in, module check, and setup Thursday, July 30, from 12 noon); through operations during the 2 day National Train Show (Sat and Sun, August 1 and 2), ending with tear down on Sunday late afternoon/evening.
 This is NOT a module ‘drop off’ event; rather we depend on your full participation during the setup and operation of the layout. No participant is expected to be at the layout every moment of operations (we all need to take time to eat, restroom breaks, AND shop at The National Train Show !;), but, if you’re not committed to helping and fully participating in the layout, we ask that you not register so that those who do want to fully participate can do so.
We are all excited and want to be included in this historic event but we need full participation from everyone!
