Egyptian? I need to do some research into rail service in North Africa and the Middle East. With Spain and Morocco finally deciding to bridge (tunnel) the Strait of Gibraltar, Morocco is set to become a rail hub in Africa to European export, but it doesn't have a large rail network nor much in the way of connections, except with its nemesis Algeria, and that only stretches as far as Tunis. But even that doesn't result in any connections beyond that - not to ore-rich Mauritania, or the rest of Africa or the Levant.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
