I had the great pleasure to attend the E24 N scale operations meet in Evanston,Wy. The event was held July 24-July 28 2024. Three discplines of N scale modeling were on display. The free-moN layout was in the refurbished Union Pacific machine shop. N-trak, T-trak layouts were set up in the refurbished round house.
Since I was able to bring 4 sections which consisted of two 90 degree corners, Hiawatha elevator district which was two 6'9" sections to make up a 13'6" module. Total section count was 413. Main line 900', branch line 133'. Total length 1496'
Overall, the event was great. Great people, great models. Definitely planning on going to E27 !.

Here are some pictures of my trains on some outstanding scenes.

I have plenty more. I took over 300 photos and numerous videos.

Thanks for sharing your pictures of the meet, they look great. Do you know if this scene Prada Marfa? I just missed seeing it from the Sunset Limited a few months ago.

Looking good Wyatt! That 6411 is gorgeous.

Also reminds me I need to get some GP30s happening.

These shots are beautiful. The natural lighting is one thing I love about the machine shop in Evanston. The one thing I hate about it though is the lack of air conditioning. It was 95 degrees in there last weekend which made the Hostlers show a little miserable.

Last Wednesday was load in and beginning set up, it was the hottest then. I think 96. During the meet it was in the mid 80’s and 50’s in the early morning. It was nice. Wind always blew.
