groove width?

I meant to ask this with my earlier question, but forgot, so I'll inflate my post count a bit:

How wide should I do the grooves between wood siding?  I'd like them to be visible but not gaping chasms, and of course the printer will need to be able to handle them.

.2mm is what I typically use.  If you want to use a chamfer, put a .1mm chamfer on your abutting edges and increase as necessary until you get the look you're after..  With this stuff I usually think of how many layers or pixels are used up to complete a modelling component when pushing the printer's limits.  So if you're printing at .05mm layers there are four layers to give you a .2mm gap. Easily done and clearly visible to the eye.
