https://www.micro-trains.com/publicfiles/monthly/MN2404.pdfOn the UP High=cube boxcars, did they put the reporting mark and number so high up so that it won't get covered in graffiti or for some other reason? Looks a little inconvenient otherwise.
The Railwire is not your personal army.
Wait, that D&H car was a one of a kind?
I may get the "Frigerator" car. Great paint job. I note the "double" April fools- the car's concept itself, and then they used a USRA boxcar, rather than a refrigerator car, as the basis- the Murphy ends and no ice hatches. And since they devoted some space to their 1015 and 1016 couplers this month- a question for Joe or anyone who might know....What is the original application of the 1015/1016 coupler packaging (which has 2 1015s and 1 1016 packaged together)? They've been doing this for decades, and I've never had a need for a set of 3 couplers, one of which is a shade longer than the other two. Just curious. I usually buy my 1015s 10 pair at a time, along with a pack of extra springs.
