Hello Scott,

thank you for your reply. The last few days I've drawn the walls of my station building in a CAD program. The building is based on Carl Fallbergs drawings. Today I was able to cut the walls with my Laser cutter and I glued them together. For the windows I will use Tichy Trains windows and doors.

I love that you are making the Fiddleton and Cooperopolis.

Yesterday evening I printed the trackplan and glued it to 2mm card. These I used as trackbed and to minimize the height difference between the layout base and the edge of the Peco turntable well.
Today I was able to lay the first pieces of track.

Today I finished most of the track laying. Only the track from the Turntable to the engine house is missing. I'm not sure if  I will build a two stall engine shed or one with only one track.

Do you have enough room for a two stall roundhouse?  Looks like even a one stall engine house would be a squeeze.  Looking good though.

There's a prototype for everything.
If you can't make it perfect, make it adjustable.

Hello Scott,

For a two stall engine house I would build an addition to the front of the layout.

@McRuss, this is awesome, the fiddletown and copperopolis is one of my favorite prototypes! Looking forward to seeing this evolve. I really like the depot, what kind of footprint does it have?

Markus,

The other thing I was thinking you could do is build the isle side of the engine house open so you could see inside with a detailed interior.

Hi Markus,
I am new here and just wanted to say what a great job you are doing. I am new to Hon30, so I will be keeping an eye on what you have going on with your layout. Thanks Scott
