BLI parts dept

Wondering if there is an issue with the BLI parts dept. I've tried twice to order parts using their online parts order form. Followed all the steps and have received no reply. Done this twice. Then I called several times during their hours of Tues-Fri 1-4 and I go to dial 2 as requested then I sit for 20 or more minutes and have to listen to the same loop over and over. I tried another number which takes me right back to the same thing again.  They have one recording telling me to go online at www.bliservice.com.   Done that and it takes me to that bloody online order form which gets me no where.       A few years ago I'd call and get a person then order parts, give them a card number and away we go. Now I can't even reach them.  I imagine you can sense some frustration here.    I own 38 of their n scale locos. I'm no one special but I would think with the doe I have invested in BLI i could get some service like the next guy.     Am I missing something in the process.     My next step is just writing a hand written letter and going snail mail as we all once did years ago.

I've had contact with them recently and they were back to me within 24-36 hours.  Perhaps the holidays have them on limited schedule or shut down ?

I will say, if they do make the connection, be prepared for sticker shock and check them for new or used for what they are charging you for

I have dealt with BLI parts dept. multiple times and was always successful.  But I don't like the external website they use for parts orders - it doesn't work for me.  I have been contacting them via email (stating that their parts ordering website does not work for me), and they always got back to me.  Try partsorders@Broadway-limited.com

Bit as it has been mentioned, maybe companies have a shutdown between Christmas and New Year.  They might just be closed, although it woudl be helpful if that was the case if the stated that somewhere where customers would see the notice.

I just tried to call Kato USA today but nobody picked up the phone.  I suspect they are also off for the holidays.

I dealt with the parts department in November. As mentioned it takes a few days per email exhange, but they are very accommodating. Parts are pricy though, so you shouldn't expect something cheap if it isn't warranty work.

I tried this before a few months ago and then again two weeks before Christmas and again today. I was thinking they may be shut down for Christmas but I will try what Petski said to, thank you.     Funny thing after the M1 did a 4' face plant on hard wood floors it still runs fine. Her face just got bashed in like she went up against Tyson a few rounds.

I've gone the email route.  They have always gotten back to me, but a couple of times, they have sent small parts like gears at no cost that just arrive in the mailbox unannounced (I do provide my address in the email request).
