CN 3309 wearing a wafer

CN 3309 has had a Canadian National tilted wafer (steam era logo) applied on the long hood where the CN noodle usually is. I've seen a pic of it, but cannot post publicly, but the person it came from is trusted.

I dunno, they did a great job on the BCOL, EJE, GTW, and IC ES44AC/SD70M-2 units. The WC could've done better on the nose (more maroon, less yellow). They did 7600 and it's slug up in that atrocious green and yellow scheme, and 7601 and slug as IC black units.

Their timetable is odd, stretched out over several years, and what they do seems pretty random, but the results are not bad. At least they're painting them in actual predecessor schemes unlike UP... and CSX to a degree.

A zebra stripped unit would've been nice; a far more significant CN scheme than that damned g&g that so many cling to as the only CN scheme worthy of the heritage honorific.

I agree, I'd like to see a zebra T4 unit.

I would second that CN has done a pretty good job of heritage units.  The military units were very nice, as were the predecessor road units.  The wafer unit is OK and will appeal to some. 

I suppose they could have some real creative licence with CNor and GTP (which did not have diesels to my knowledge).  And NAR would be snazzy too.  I suspect the latter will come at some point.

I like this unit. The red "wafer" fits in nicely with CN's existing red/black/white(light grey) colour scheme.
