Thank you for the heads-up, John. There are some things on that flyer alone that I should probably stock-up on.

The surplus electronics business is a quickly vanishing breed, for numerous reasons. I have a very good friend whose father founded such a store in St. Louis way back in the 1960s, eventually opening outlets in Denver and San Diego as well. The remote locations were closed in the 00s, and she closed the St. Louis store two or three years ago, after two moves to smaller spaces as the business dried up.

I was going to recommend another retailer in that genre I bought from just a couple of months ago and had experience with their retail location, Orvac Electronics in Fullerton, CA. But I just went to their site to discover that they also closed their store recently and are now reorganized as https://www.rebuildskills.com. Probably still worth looking at.

As I said, it's a dying breed.

That's too bad. I have been using them in my hobbies for close to 40 years (back when I used to mail in my orders).

I also use https://theelectronicgoldmine.com/ . Hopefully they will stay in business.  Each carried different variety of products though, so it was nice to have multiple options.  I  also still have catalogs for about half a dozen of electronic surplus dealers which are gone.
I also sometimes shop at https://sciplus.com/ . They have all sorts of interesting items for sale (with some electronic stuff in the mix).

It's ashame.  Have been using them for awhile.  As a matter of fact just ordered from them less that 2 weeks ago.

Less and less people are interested electronics now a days amongst other hobbies.

Well, with all the inexpensive very advanced electronic devices all around us, and with the miniaturization of components, it is not as easy to make it a hobby. Plus there are lotos of ready-made  micorcontroller based circuit boards available for hobbies. If anything, current hobbyists are more into programing those Arduinos ans Raspberry Pies, than into building hardware circuits from scratch.  Seems that many crafts requiring working with your hands and using your brain are dying off.  Yes, this is a grumpy old man's opinion.

It's not just one grumpy old man's opinion, Peteski.  Any skill requiring making things with your own hands and brain
is dying.

AllElectronics is one that I used for surplus parts for years as well.  In addition to Hosfelt (gone), Lafayette (gone), and a couple of places in California that are gone that I cannot even remember the names of anymore.
