I am going mad trying to arrange structures for the new layout The LPR. Learning that less is more.
Kits is all I have, except one scratch warehouse. Some are heritage structures I want to use and
some are from a EBAY purchase last Fall. Word of wisdom from the hats?

Down to this from several variation's of crammed makes no sense buildings, i.e. grain elevators/feed:

Less is DEFINITELY more!

Lay out a real map over a layout and you'll see how bad we typically do with that.

More negative space makes for far more realistic scenes.

Chuck -- you are a very good modeler .. and your plan looks very workable for the space you have .. your extra buildings could be used on some modules, dioramas, or as trade bait for that thing you need for your current build

Thanks Ed and John - Paired down even more and some more negative space added.
Also added small desert hill out cropping between industrial lead and main line in yard.
Started working on small hill with foam, webbing, plaster cloth and sculpty. This will
hide the runaround in back.
