Isn't that the version they are doing?  Blue Mountain & Reading Tender

vs today's Reading and Northern Tender?

... Odd that you mention they wouldn't add it because I believe the locomotive was released with the new scheme before they added Conrail (and unlettered).

Wish I had known that I would have asked them to add the new scheme too.

Right. They're doing the old school BM&R one, but not the new R&N because they missed the timing for THAT by one week (I think).
It's the old school one I'd want.

I thought Conrail was always in the works.

Nope, I don't think it was on their radar until I emailed them.

Good to see they are optimistic for a 2nd run, but if that is the case, I'm surprised they put Conrail (and unlettered) in the 1st run vs 2nd run

I guess there are 2 more RBMN schemes to do.. the new Reading Northern and the 'We the People' one..
I think 2 more American Freedom Train schemes.
The Ferroequus loco
Chessie Steam may need another run
More Reading #s
Plus whatever other fantasy schemes they can dream up.

Have they definitively stated they will be doing a second run?  Will be cool if they do.

How does one accidentally buy a $500 loco?  Well you make the minimum bid with a week to go and assume someone will bid against you.  They didn't.   So now I have a second H9s.  To compound the stupidity, it's the same road # as my first one.  At least the price was good.  I would have thought for sure someone would bid more than $478.88...

John, I have an C&O H-8 that I acquired that way. placed a minimum bid on it 3 weeks in a row, the guy yanked it 24 hours before it ended each time because he wasn't patient enough for the bidding war to start. After the 3rd yank, he re-listed it buy it now or best offer. I sent him my best offer, which was my minimum bid from before, not expecting him to take it. The next day I found out I had bought a new Allegheny.

As to your other request, let me unload mine before a plastic H-8 arrives. This thing has done better than any stock I have ever owned. Last I checked I would make about 500% on it if I sold it on the open market. (not planning too by the way)

Tony, I think you're safe. I really don't see any N-Scale manufacturer doing one.

I just checked the BLI site again and it looks like they have lowered the price of the DDC Sound units to $449.99 which is $50 cheaper than originally listed.  The stealth, however, are still at $349.99 so no price change there.

The $100 price difference (wonder what it will actually be when street prices are known) will basically cover the cost of buying an ESU LokSound.  So YAY!  Now let's hope other manufacturers follow suit . . .

The other question about the stealth, how "stealth" are they?

I installed a DCC/Sound update for an HO Rapido SW that the sound version was sold out. Install consists of plugging in a 21 pin mtc decoder and programming. Speakers and all lighting effects were already on board. Easiest sound install ever.

BLI says that the stealth will come with speakers already installed and a plain DC board that a decoder can be plugged into.  Originally N-Scale was listed as a 6-pin socket, but later documentation indicated a Next18 is probable.  HO was designated as getting the 21MTC socket.

John C.

I emailed my guy in Cincinnati that I pre-order from.  I should know in a day or so what his price would be which will be very close to what MTS, HOGTrains and others will charge.

He was quicker than I expected.  BLI P4: $337.50 and Stealth: $262.99  for a $74.51 difference.  Still good enough for me to get the stealth and put an ESU LokSound in it.
