Philip, is my info correct - is the plan to stub-end this train at Mobile? Last I knew (indirectly and firsthand observation), the CSX track east to Jacksonville was/is in deplorable condition despite fixing the bridge(s) around Pensacola.

Correct.  Not only is that track allegedly in bad condition, much of it has been sold by CSX to other parties who have even shallower pockets from which to conduct repairs.

With the PA now heading in this general direction, looks like a return visit to the US might be in order. Back in October 2017.....
