As a side note, the prototype is really an interesting steamer, a one of a kind.
It was built using a tank locomotive and parts of other steamers, eg. the tender etc.

Thanks Thomas.  The model's packaging includes a short write-up about it (not as many details as that web page).
I bought it because I liked its streamline looks, and the huge diameter drivers.  It is also a speed record holder, and it was  manufactured really late into steam era.

Created in 1960 and operated well into the 1970s it is quite a late steamer.

The Wiki entry is not completely correct though. As I understand it, it says this loco has the largest driving wheels with a diameter of 2300 mm. The class 05 has the same driving wheel diameter.

I have a few of the Oriental Lmtd locos. Yours looks like the OL release as opposed to the later Key model.
