Truck pins needed for Con Cor passenger cars

I have a N Scale Con Cor 80' smooth side passenger car with no trucks and no pins.
They are a 'split' pin design. Any idea where/what I could use to secure replacement MT trucks to this with?

If I remember right, MT used to have a black nylon 'plug' that fit down inside the bolster from the inside to fill that big hole, and then all you had to do was use a regular MT passenger car truck with a normal pin.   I probably have a couple of those in my MT coupler junk drawer, PM me if you get stuck.   They haven't supplied those with trucks for years, I think.

Yeah, those used to come packed with every 1017 truck.  Maybe with every truck. Along with a couple other bushings to fit other oddball truck mounting designs.

Do the current CC smoothsides still have trucks that mount that way, or did they revise that to be like their Budd cars (which use a screw mounting).

Yes, MTL used to include the Con-Cor adapter plug in the truck packages. It was actually on the same parts tree with the pin.  Not sure they still do that.  I have not bought any MTL trucks for some time.

I used them to make the column bases on my Cumberland Station platform...


I must have 11 million of them floating around in the bin.

The last trucks I bought, some 100-ton roller bearing trucks, still came with them.  These are a fairly new style, so I assume all of their trucks include them.

I saw your post and checked my newest trucks, which are the 6 wheel passenger trucks made to fit the MTL passenger cars. Those also have the adapters in the pack.
