N-Scale Magazine is available on CD. There are 6 CD's available, covering 30-Years of N-Scale Magazine. You can purchase them online at www.nscalemagazine.com or give us a call at 360-658-2485. All 6 are available for purchase.
Volume 1: 1989-1994 • Volume 2: 1995-1999 • Volume 3: 2000-2004 • Volume 4: 2005-2009 • Volume 5: 2010-2014 • Volume 6: 2015-2019. Each CD also includes an index to help you locate the road names, or specific articles you are looking for.
This is a great way to follow article series as well in the magazine, such as Thomas Knapp's Short & Nn3arrow series, DCC Workshop and more. Thank you for your support. We look forward to sending you your 6-CD set or individual CD.

For a $17 investment or less in one it is worth it to be able to see the issues if you missed them.  I've got them all and going through them as time permits.

I have the first 4 CDs.  Need more.

The docs are in PDF format.  So if you don't have a CD player, take them to someone who does, and simply copy the files to a thumb drive.
Then move them to your computer.

Pretty easy.

I have a external cd drive . Now the caveat to that is I don't know if it will work with my 2021 computer. I bought it to use with a Think Pad that ran floppies back around 2000. I still have it too.

But they do sell modern versions.
The Wife and I were just discussing it before I logged in here.

Newer machines speak USB and SATA.   USB was introduced in 1995, so if your drive is USB it should play nice with your new machine.  SATA is mostly for internal drives, eSATA for external, (which doesn't seem to be used much), but eSATA wasn't introduced until 2004, so your old CD drive won't support it.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Been here, argued that. First, external CD/DVD USB drives are cheap...around $20, but my question was (and still is) why CDs? All four...now five CD's could fit on one DVD. Give me one DVD at a fair price and I'm in.
