I can’t tell from the MTL graphic whether the X29 is red or brown like the other cars. Should it be red, or were some X29s tuscan?

Depends on the era, the PRR's freight car color evolved from being more brown to being more red in hue. http://jbritton.pennsyrr.com/index.php/tpm/latest-articles-blog/149-freight-car-paint-schemes-banners-slogans

The classic PRR debate!!!  The X29s were "Freight Car Color" on the PRR, which steadily darkened from an orangey-red to a reddish brown as the paint formulation changed.  With fresh paint, it would be a somewhat different hue from the passenger cars' Tuscan; however, the REA X29s were well traveled and rarely washed, so the actual in-service color was "grime".  Weather the bezeejus out of it and don't get too hung up on the base color, IMHO.

Thanks. Very good info. Can anyone with a better monitor or perhaps less color blindness that me  determine what color the MTL X29 is? Same as the others in the set?

In the artwork they are distinctly different colors.

So glad to see this N&W scheme! https://www.micro-trains.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=63_64&product_id=4020

A must for 1970s-1990s N&W and any road that received N&W coal shipments.
