I want to know what track is under the SD70.   Kato unitrak with concrete ties and brass rail?

That does look brassy, doesn't it?  But Nickel-silver can often have a goldish tone (especially under certain type of lighting). I suspect that is all that we are seeing.

Woah, I fell in love with the toy in the first picture. I've had a similar one when I was a child. Unfortunately, that toy is long lost somewhere in the Neosho River. I wonder if they sell these toys? I understand that the toy train show was in 2017, but I don't see who was the manufacturer of that toy train. I don't know why, but my dog loves train toys alot :) Even more than his Cotton Flying Disk Dog Toy. It would be great to set up a mini railroad and let him ride in the cargo hold. Actually, I'm building one, very similar to the train in the first pic.

What?
That's quite the first post! Respond to a thread that's 4 years old and calling a model train a "toy".

Seems unlikely to be a spammer.  Joined the forum on the 29th, posted on July 1st, visited the forum again this morning.  Their post makes reference to a river in Oklahoma/Arkansas that I'd never heard of before.

@hectortwede - introduce yourself in this thread: https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=13773.0

I'm smelling spammer.

Me, too. Typical spam message, built from a keyword ("toy") in the thread subject and referencing the initial (but old!) post, but totally missing the context. There was another one earlier this week. I thought Tom had a new member screening process based on a response textbox describing one's interest in the forum. Can't be the spammers are getting that good.

That's part of the scam, "creeping" posts, sort of like a foot in the door, camel's nose in the tent; pick your metaphor. We dealt with this technique in a forum I moderated some 10 years ago.

Wow, that's a lot of trouble for spamming. I guess I'd make an unsuccessful spammer.

I do agree the "toy" reference is so general (and kind of wrong) as to be suspicous.

The Neosho river starts below the Council Grove Dam just north of Council Grove Kansas (35 miles Southwest of Topeka).  It flows through Emporia, Burlington, and on down to Twin Bridges OK where it and the another river (Spring I think) join at the mouth of Grand Lake in northeast Ok.

Yeah, but it's a lot easier if you get a robot to do it.
