BLI decoders?

Does anyone know who makes the decoders that are used in BLI locomotives?
Does BLI manufacture their own decoders? Or do they contract someone else to produce the decoders that they use?

BLI decoders and the technology the use are specific to BLI.  I have not seen any other brand decoders similar in design or function. They seem unique. But I can't say for sure whether BLI actually designes and manufactures them in-house (well, probably China) or contracted the design and actual production to another manufacturer.

To put it another way, BLI decoders aren't just respun Digitrax, Soundtraxx, NCE, TCS, ESU, or any of the European makes decoders.

May I ask why didn't you post this question in the DCC forum?
