What size did you use?  That really improves the look

I used Evergreen I-Beam #274  - 1/8" (3.2mm). I cut the top part of the "I" beam of to effectively make it a "T" and then cut 1 side of the "T" off to make a "L". Then glued it to the underside of the body making sure that the brass contacts were free to move on the turck pickup's. Just enough room.

You're better off using some C channel in the right height.
I think I used some of this when I did mine: https://plastruct.com/collections/structural-shapes/products/90531-cfs-2

This past weekend I enjoyed a lot of auto racing, a brew or two, and also some Royal Crown Cola ( yeh uh uh ) as I finished my Royale Models 3D printed truck/trailer. I drove its twin back in the day (late '60's). Really enjoyed this build......................

Thanks for looking but most important - stay well,
Carl

Finally got over the big hurdles with getting my Layout's track work in order to prep for ballasting and scenicing the unreachable areas.

First Hurdle was getting all the tracks wired up, but this isn't very exciting to look at.
Second was getting all the filler ties positioned, and turnout control installed. And all the obligatory short locomotive tests and light boxcar pinkie tests.

And the Third hurdle being painting all those ties. My local Antique shop quite conveniently had some photographs of the the area near where I'm modeling for color reference. This step is ongoing  but also quite conveniently the harder to paint spots are all ME "pre-weathered" products already and they won't need as much care as the handlaid foreground trackage.

Getting closer to printing a passenger car.

Edit, updated the car body, had the vestibule door in the wrong place by 3ft. not sure how I missed that one.

Really well done. But RC is not quite the same without Moon Pies!

B&O Streamstyled Heavyweight Parlor/Baggage for the Cincinnatian. Figured I would start with the second hardest car first, the observation is next, then the coaches.
