Just saw this listing and I thot it was 4,000 yen then I saw the US$!!! The seller gave no details, only a few pics.

I am assuming that they meant to enter the price in Yen...that would be about $40...

I think it's from the first run (50 years ago?), in which case I guess it's a rare? collectable set. I don't have access to my kato history book right now.

This is so old it predates Rapido couplers.  It and it’s contemporary subway m/u car came with N-sized “NMRA’” X2f horn hook couplers.
A nice little engine with very fine drives...motor in tender.

I'll take what's left of my Government Check, go down go down by the Interstate Exit ramp and see if I can collect the rest of the balance.  I figure by NEXT YEAR, I will have collected enough to make a DOWN PAYMENT.........
