Wonder how much that layout weighs.  :?

Stuff isn't exactly porous by design.

When I saw that ad (some time ago), I rolled my eyes. But then again, model railroaders are very creative in materials used for scenery, so why not?   :)

I’d say the house with the leaking basement window has bigger issues.   :o

That the same stuff Woodland Scenics buys, repackages and sells for 3X the price per ounce?  I have used it to fix cracks in plaster, once to build a ramp up between slight track levels, etc.

I wonder if the black stuff would be good for roads, after sanding?  Or, not as good as plain plaster?

No. This discussion is about one of the "Flex" product and their silly ads.  Flex products are like liquid rubber (somewhat like silicone caulking).  They seem to have jumped the shark in one of their ads, by using the paste version for model train scenery

Yeah, no. I'm already halfway through making that boat with it. Now, I'm supposed to stop and make scenery with the stuff?!?? Huh, I don't think so.

Why don't you create a railwire flexpaste challenge?

No, seriously.
