Nothing quite like it here - yet but, they are trying to get some dealers in the US (and Canada etc...).

I could pay NASA a few million bucks to design me a sweet workbench and organizer. I will still have half finished projects strewn about.

I just use those Sterolite plastic stackable drawers from Walmart.

Looks like it's mostly their airplane stuff. I scrolled through all 20 pages and only a few are the storage system. The rest are planes. But thanks, Phil! :)

An alternative method is Adam Savage's "First Order Retrievability" concept.  The idea that everything is out in plain view, and you don't have to open a drawer or move anything out of the way to get at something else.  Doesn't look as pretty, but makes up for it in efficiency.  Maybe not as important for the weekend warrior, but worth mentioning anyway.

It sure is!  [Thread drift] Tested is a great channel to follow for any hobbyist.  They even cover model railroading from time to time.


They also do a lot of "One day builds", focusing on all kinds of scale models, movie prop replicas, movie prop originals, costumes, and a few custom solutions for needs around the shop and home.  Even if that's not your thing, you're sure to learn some awesome techniques that can be applied to model railroading.

A word on the prices...they include a 20% VAT tax that is waved.

I may still do that. :)  Is it really something that would be cool?  About 20 years ago I came very close to doing this in HO.  Had plans and all started but my kid lost interest.  Maybe it's time for the kid in me to build one in N.  I'm pretty well convinced it could be done and easy to run with an electric heated boiler.

It wouldn't be my first venture into steam.  This was posted before.
