Consisting/ops question?

Hey TRW,

I have done some consisting with my MRC DCC system but had a question:

If I wanted to simulate a situation where an engine would be on both ends of the train I.e. a push pull scenario, but be able to individually control an engine when working an industry, is this possible or what method of consisting would I need to be able to control them simultaneously as a consist or individually? When I try to do advanced consisting it seems that calling the individual loco address makes the consist move? Perhaps I’m doing it wrong...

I don't have an MRC .. but on my digitrax I would consist both locomotives -- run them until you get to the place to switch, then break the consist to do your work, then after your work is done, consist them back up .. on the digitrax throttle, each loco is on a different knob when not consisted .. make sense?
