Help needed on a brass steamer

About a month ago I bought a used Westside HOn3 locomotive that may have belonged to a friend that passed about 20 years ago . I cant be sure it was his but it was sold as used in a shop I know he frequented .  It runs well for a 40 year old model and I went ahead and put sound in it .  But it has 1 problem I just can't let go . The boiler / cab sit too high . It looks like lowering would be possible and with the right tools and knowledge wouldn't be extremely difficult . Problem is I have neither . I was wondering if there is anyone that would be willing to take on a project like this . I know it wouldn't be cheap , but I really want to get the look "right" to do justice to the Loco.......Mike
