Yikes, was that photo taken with a radioactive camera?

For about the next 11 hours you can scroll back to 18:04:40 EDT and watch the train traverse the curve.

Weird, eh?  That Pennsy Geep sure looks like it is glowing eerie blue.  Something one would see as special FX in an '80s low-budget SciFi movie.
Seems like a photo of a monitor screen showing video feed of that location.

It's what happens when I take a photo of my TV during cocktail hour.

This just in (well, two hours ago): @eric220 sent this picture to me from the train.  Certain :ashat:'s may recognize the spot:

Surprising to see those tires marks still there from the first year of the Rail-B-Q in Newport, when we realized that was a bar and banged a hard right on two wheels in my Focus to park.  We were thirsty.  :D

More to come... This trip has been a hoot!

Oh, and as to the original question, as far as I know @seusscaboose and I were the only :ashat: s to make the trip.

Wistfully so. Very sad to realize the Rail-B-Qs are no longer in the neighborhood...

Maybe we can do a Railwire event there someday, just to enjoy old memories?

Well

We just unloaded in nyc and are headed to Sunnyside

I am bashed

It was a great trip

Fantastic

I’m tired (9 hours sleep over past 3 days and 2 weeks prior prepping the car)

EW and his dad are awesome and I am so happy to share our first trip memories with him

My dad bought it when I was bit
Rebuilt it twice with blue collar money

And this third time we decided we would shoot for the moon and Amtrak certification

We hit it out if the park

Food was top shelf out of the prr cookbook
Car was excellent

All I can you boys is that it was great!

I even asked EW for some help on en route truck inspection!!!

We had a great time

I rode the Curve and the Bridge !!!

We have 4 more trips scheduled

Check out executiverail.com in a few days

I would like to thank
