With the amount of rain they've had in the area since early spring, soggy ground might have played a part.  Looks like the third locomotive touched it off.  Great catch by the person taking the video, but I'd probably crap my pants if that happened right in front of me...  :o

We've certainly had our fair share of rain and extreme weather as of late over most of the state. Watched that video yesterday. Looks to me like the train was on a road crossing when it happened. According to the news article it is seen crossing Magyar St. in that video.
