Can't believe you have 120 trees in that one area and it looks like you still put more in without over doing it.  I'm can see I'm going to have to invest in one of those wire tree making machines.

 Thank you all for the compliments !  Ed , as much as I would like to do mtns. and tunnels I felt that a layout this size that would be too Furlowish , so I tried the more typical .  Scott my secret to the trees is Moose Creek trees . I haven't found anything like them . Think they are a furnace filter based tree.... mike

 Haven't done too much in the past few months , but I did add some more tall grass around the station .




  About 6 weeks ago I bought a Westside C-25 2-8-0 Good runner but it had an issue .


The boiler / cab sat way too far above the frame . So last weekend I got the courage to take a dremel to it and chopped dowm the cylinder saddle , a support under the center of the boiler and the rear frame . Lots of work but it's running again .  I also added a Tsunami 2 decoder ( the newest versions have a much better cylinder cock sound and rod clank is much better ) and their 13 x 18 cube speaker .

 The cab is still too tall , but I'm not quite ready to go that far yet ......Mike

I like how the photos are improving along with the look of the layout.

What are you shooting your pictures with?  Looks like focus and lighting are still giving you a little bit of trouble...

The layout is looking real good and the new engine looks great.  Are both the decoder and speaker in the tender?

   Lee , its just a Moto G4 phone camera .  One of these days I need to get out the old Nikon and try to remember how to use it 

   Scott , yes their both in the tender , I used a Tsunami 2200 and a Soundtraxx 13 x 18 speaker .  Just no room in the boiler for a decent sized speaker unless you really hack the weight .....Mike

Unidentified engineer smashed the frame but it makes a nice storage shed . Those two better be on lunch !

Mike,  the scenery is coming along great.  I really like the shot of the Mudhen on the overgrown embankment, especially the grass overhanging the fascia.  It adds a nice touch of realism.

 Since it's fall I decided to replace the green Aspens that I wasn't real happy with . New ones are still Supertrees , but i tried to go a bit easier on the leaves to try to get a more see through look .
