I'm not going to try it, for fear it won't work on my post, but does this site actually have an auto-censor?
Except "weenie" can be spelled without automatically triggering censorship, whereas "a$$"...let me try it again "a$$"...nope...gets dollar signs! Cheerio!Bob Gilmore
It absolutely does (as do other model forums I participate in). They have a dictionary of "naughty" words they either replace or remove when a message is posted. Sometimes you can get creative and find a way to post a "naughty" work if you add spaces or misspell it, but is it worth it?
Peter @peteski , Yup...sometimes it definitely IS worth it! Even though both my mom and dad told me that using vulgarities was just an indication of a low-level of intelligence, in the real world, one of my dad's nuclear physicist pals would rip off a string of profanities when he would get hurt at the dojo during Aiki-Jujutsu instruction that was simply awe-inspiring. He told us that he had learned his art while working on Alco engines in India during WWII! Periodic profanity usage for emphasis is an inescapable part of the English language and literature. So, here's to the lowly rat, whose body parts we so freely use to accentuate the points we are making!Cheerio!Bob Gilmore
To me the sanitized A$$ conveys the same meaning as if it was uncensored with "SS".
So the "SS" is being sensored. Glad to know The Railwire doesn't tolerate any part of Nazism.
I don't know what all you forkin' ash-hats are talking about.
