What's the best way to "declump" Silflor Static Grass?

I've been blending some different colors of Silflor static grass. So far, I've been manually breaking up the clumps by hand in order to get the different colors / lengths to blend together. Is there a better way to accomplish this than breaking them up by-hand?

Could you sift it out onto a sheet of paper i layers and then load it back into your hopper?
