Looking for some help...I'm looking at a set of Kato F7s but only want to buy them if they are the DCC-ready version.
Is there a way to tell just by looking at them or with the part#?

Here's the scoop:
Kato 106-0405 ATSF 306 F7A + 306B F7B

Thanks!

No-go. I searched on the part number and they showed up in a couple places with date attribution including photos with the road #s. These are from the 1999 run, the last non-DCC-compatible version.

Excellent info Mike! I knew they were older but didn't know where the cutoff date was for non-DCC ready. Thank you for the very quick answer!
