DIY spray booth fan/blower advice

Well the booth is in. Doing the window vent tomorrow then the maiden voyage.

Not the prettiest thing but fits neatly under my benchwork and is probably overbuilt for what it is.

Did you buy an inexpensive lazy susan yet? Even for my limited experience, it is indispensable.

It looks like some local stores carry simple ones in various sizes. Great idea, will pick one up for some painting tonight.

Is that the Revell (1:96 scale?) USS Constitution?  I built one of those as a teen living in Poland, and I have one with just the hull completed sitting in my basement (for over 30 years).

I built one as a teen as well, but I wasn't living in Poland.  I confess that I never completed the rigging.

I fully completed mine. It is amazing how patient I was back then.  I also remember using dabs of Testors cement (red tube stuff) to secure all the knots.  But I gave up on the 2nd one (after coming to USA).

It has sat for about a year while other simpler kits are further along. We decided we wanted some rigging practice before tackling that part... intimidating for sure.

Well I fired it up for the first time and gave a rattle can of dullcote and camo brown a go; no smell. Turpentine jar, no smell. Very impressed. Time to figure out the darn airbrush I picked up. As far as the booth; the blower seems to be quite adequate. Moves a lot of air.
