They sell a convenient 1 oz roll of 2% silver bearing solder, NOT LEAD FREE, for $8.00 in the very fine .015" diameter. It's very hard to find non-lead-free silver bearing solder in reasonable sized rolls in very thin diameters like this. I've looked around a lot, and I've seen posts on it in forums (including this one). Sometimes you can find larger diameter or half-pound or one pound rolls (which get expensive), but this 1 oz size is really handy. And believe me, a 1 oz roll lasts a long time.
Anyway, it's been out of stock at Radio Shack forever, and I just happened to notice that they have it again. Thought I'd pass it along (after, of course, I bought a couple of rolls for myself... ha ha )
