Anyone have an IM or MTL FT?

Can anyone tell me if the trucks on either are swapable with Atlas B (Blomberg B/M, FB, FM, ARR-B) trucks? Will the side frames fit the Atlas gear towers?

Nope. Neither the whole truck or the sideframe can be swapped into an IM FT. The sideframe could be modified, if you cut two more holes in the bottom for gears and glue it on. The attachment mechanism are quite different. With the whole truck, the gear tower is different enough that it wouldn’t be easy to modify it.

Im not sure...but the truck gear tower and wheels are atlas on our FT...we made the side frames.  I would guess that any atlas truck that uses that gear tower would work.
