Good evening all,

Went to the Hickory NC Train show today.  Arrived right at 9AM.  Walked in to find at least 150 people in line ahead of me.   While there were a lot of fellow gray hairs I was happy to see lots of parents (not just dads) and kids.  I left around 11 and the place was absolutely packed.  I could only stay for a bit as I had a grand daughter's birthday to attend  later.  N scale passenger was a bit weak for me but overall N was pretty good.  Lots of HO and O.  Picked up a couple books for about half of what was being asked.   I don't often find Wabash or Rock Island books down south so I figured grab them when I see them.

So to those who say the hobby is dying I say not here it isn't!

Now for the part where I need a little help.  First thank you to the Central Carolina N Scalers for test running an unpainted Bachmann Spectrum 2-8-0 for me.  It ran smooth and quiet but a little slow forwards backwards and through turnouts forward and back.  I used the lack of rear tender coupling and a missing right front ladder in negotiations.   Which leads me to this, does anyone know where I can get just the right front ladder?

Thank you,
Bobster

Joe,

All I can say is DUH! to myself.  Must be too late in the evening.  I blew right past it on the Bachmann site as I was looking for ladder -  not pilot ladder.

Thanks,
Bobster

Send me your address, I think I have one laying around.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away
