Last week I was in Florida for dynamic testing of the new Brightline trains which will run on the FEC corridor. While out on the line, we met a freight train which was hauled by an FEC ES44C4 and LNG fuel tender. Please excuse the poor quality photos and awkward angle.

As for the train I was actually on, people along the RoW caught us as we ran the first train at higher speed on the corridor:

Virginia had its first snowfall this past weekend and I manage to catch a few trains around Richmond as it fell.

Continuing with the winter theme, here's a Pacific Electric car with snow on the roof...





And the rest of the story - this is pure "foobie".  This is an ex-SEPTA PCC built around 1949 or so that Muni painted in a Pacific Electric scheme.  It has been stripped prior to refurbishment and should be back in service in San Francisco next autumn.
