Received an email that N Scale Enthusiasts have partnered with Matt to produce UP 1943 and NS Special maned AC44C6Ms for preorder. They are shooting for 3rd or 4th quarter delivery.

They are also rerunning all five of the SF Bicentennial units with DC/DCC/Sound options.

AC44C6M had me hopeful FVM might be about to announce a proper AC44. Sigh, just GEVOs foobed....

AC44C6M had me hopeful FVM might be about to announce a proper AC44. Sigh, just GEVOs foobed....

Yeah, I was at the hospital, when I got the email, I was hoping for the proper one myself. Didn't have time to correctly verify if they were correct or not. I've been tempted to get two FVM GEVO cabs, and strap them on Kato AC4400CW long hood and chassis.

Oh well, I preordered the SD70ACe, that should be as close to correct. At least no worse than say the Kato versions.
