Athearn N Scale Big Boy Decoder Install

I purchased the plain ole, analog loco a couple of months ago with the intention of installing an ES Loksound Micro decoder.
I just do not like the Tsunami sounds, my thing I know.

My problem comes in matching the color coded decoder wires with the all black Athearn wires that run between the loco and tender. There are two plugs in the tender: one from loco that plugs into the front end of the light board, the second one is on the bottom side of the factory board and it has a dummy plug in it. I can identify one wire but not the rest.

Anyone do this and have any hints, I would sure appreciate some help.

Hi Carl,
Got a photo of the plug and socket?
Send me a photo via PM or my e-mail and I think that I can help you.
