I haven't found any of these, but the guys here who find the obscure places where things like this are available are pretty good. For a scratchbuilding project. Failing that, what the possibilities of a Shapeways version?

I admit I haven't done this myself - yet - but I have seen telescoping brass channel used.

@OldEastRR You can go to Keystone Details and submit a request if you like.  I will need some decent pics of what you are looking for and some dimension guesses or known numbers widht and height of the channel, etc.

There are a couple different versions on Shapeways already. Shony Smith designed them. They are actually ore dock chutes, but not many people can tell the diffrence.

Coaling tower chutes were complicated. They had a U-channel for a chute, but it was hinged in the middle so it could be pulled down and extended to whatever tender needed filling. Plus it had a "hood" at the end, really a deflector that directed the coal down straight down from the end of the chute rather than shooting off the end and past the tender bunker.

Here's an apparently working brass model made in HO or O:

Not sure if an N scale one in FUD would be feasible. And to have chutes in various (non-operating) positions means at least a two-part assembly.

I have articulating FXD parts that are smaller than that.  My bridge shoes come to mind.

All one piece and after soaking and articulating in the soak the move very freely.

The only real question would be wall thicknesses.

The door on this shack articulates:
