Cjm413:  That would be one reinterpretation of GG-1 for the GN.  I have no idea what the GN would have called them, since they didn't use the same class for steam and electric, even if they had the same wheel arrangement.  It's entirely possible that they would have kept the Pennsy class.

If the MILW had bought the GN's motors, they would probably have been EF-6 and EF-7, if they bought both Y and Z classes.   Whether they would have bought the Ws I don't know.  The Little Joes had higher horsepower, and while the Ws had more tractive effort, they were also VERY large.  With only two units, they might have been a little too unusual.
