I'm hoping Kato comes out with a T4 model soon.  Those look great with the big radiator.

A couple of shots taken on New Year's Day of the SteamRanger Heritage Railway in South Australia. The loco is a broad gauge (5'3") 4-6-2 built by the South Australian Railway workshops in 1936.

A crappy shot to be certain. I still had to take it. I risked stopping on I-80 to get it. Its a memory I wanted to save.

Heres a better one, although I can't seem to hold the camera level. Perhaps, again, its because I had to stop in traffic to get it.

I was rather prolific with the train related activities in November.

Railfanning from a steamship.

Also went with my good friend, Ed, down to Portland to ride behind 4449:

Nice to see 4449 running.  I thought it was mothballed at OMSI.

I know they were working on it in August of 2015.

I try to stop in every time I'm in Portland, haven't had a chance to see it running though.
