Tom D.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

It was Fox Valley.  I believe that they did another private road name with the B&O wagon top box car.

Yes, it was FVM.  This was discussed in a thread in 2015 Virginian and Ohio models in N scale

Here's the FVM ad:  http://www.foxvalleymodels.com/announcements/feb13bandobox.jpg

Relevant parts of the above thread:

FVM also did 2 numbers for the AM on it's B&O wagontop box car.  I don't recall seeing any V&O versions. Nevermind, they did.  Also the Cumberland Valley.

I did some internet research and found out the V&O cars were cancelled and never released. I haven't found out why.  I guess Matt would know.  The AM and CV cars are out and still available here and there.  Somehow I got two of the AM 1190 cars and the CV 122134 car.

If my sieve of a mind remembers correctly. The cars were cancelled not because of sales, but because the V&O would have never had them according to the V&O Hysterical Society.

And I found it:

These were on the BLW site last week (with 2 different numbers available) but seemed to have disappeared at the moment.
I just received mine in the mail today.
They are out of the V&O but still have the Allegheny Midland.

Look back two posts for info on the V&O wagontops.  You won't find any anywhere because they never made them. :(

Got one of each number from BLW.  Thanks for the info.  Wish someone did older hopper cars for this or make decals so I could roll my own.
