@central.vermont Hard to beat for ~$10 for 16+ feet.  6K color, spliceable, end to end connectors.  Power sold separately, but an old DC transformer with enough wattage will do...

Really nice clear silicone covering with peel and stick tape already applied.  May not be strong enough for application to raw wood or dusty surfaces, but sticks well to smooth painted surface.

EBay is chock-full of LEDs strips (sold on reels). Cool white, warm white, colors and even RGB (so you can tune in any color you want.  Usually quite inexpensive too.  The only drawback of eBay is that the specs are often missing or not informative.

@central.vermont I have updated the link above- sorry about that.

@peteski , These have a reasonable amount of specs to go on.  BTW- I will finally install these overt the holiday weekend...

John,
Thanks for the update to the link.
You should start a new post on the installation of these. I will be very interested in how this goes for you.

Jon

I know you asked if anyone has used Michaels LED boards and while I have not I have followed some of the guys using them on the MRH forums. Those who have them agree they are not cheap but are great. They are not for me as I don't feel like doing all that soldering. If you type in Mike Rose LEDS at the MRH search you will get a lot more info.
Good lucj

LOL John, the original URL you provided was not to eBay so that was why I steered Jon to eBay. But I now see that we were both on the same page all along.  :)

I've tried all of these plus a few other commercial variations (Dapol,  Streamlined Backshop), and it seems to come down to "ready to it" or build.

So far reel of LED is winning on car and structure projects...
