Wanted: Recommendations for a Laser Cutting Service

As the subject says, does anyone know of a laser cutting service willing to work with modelers?  I'm interested in having some parts cut from thin (1/16" - 1/32") plywood, as well as clear acrylic.

Thanks in advance,
Ed

Maybe get in touch with Monster Modelworks. They offer inexpensive custom lasering of their brick sheets. Worth a try.

There is also Imagine That Laser Art. They come to a number of shows in the Toronto area and are always receptive to new ideas. They might be able to help you with your project.
Because why not...

You could also make friends at the local college, or find someone with a Tech Shop membership.

Bill is pretty popular on the MHR forums and also hosts the Rail Pro forum site. I have purchased his switch machines but he does do custom laser work. Also his shipping is included to USA and Canada.

I would also suggest Bill.  I purchased car card boxes from him and am very happy with them.

My public library has proposed the idea of converting part of their basement into makerspace, but I don't know the details of what it would or wouldn't include, and to any extent it has been approved, when it would be completed.
