OK, Got it.  The post count on my signature area is "live" and updates on all of my old posts every time I make a new one.

If I keep talking to myself like this, I will soon be a full-fledged member of the "crew."  Just wondering, do we all end-up talking to ourselves before we "make it?"

It's not that bad.  Just keep on contributing and you'll be there soon!   :) I think you are the first member who contemplating talking the themselves to rack up their number of posts.

The rest of us here who talk to ourselves are... oh, hello, nurse... it isn't time for my meds already, is it?

Sometimes you have to talk to yourself here to get a  intelligent answer. :D

Well, if I was allowed toedit my own posts before reaching the 25 count, I would have done so instead of "talking to myself" in sequential posts, and "saved" about 3 posts from my count.  Since these  last few posts are mainly "administrative," maybe somebody should go back and edit my post "count" to exclude them, like the 2 to "Admin" were not included.  Either way, the count showing on my signature area is not what allows me to get to the crew area and quipment swap area.  So, I am guessing that I will only know when I can go to those places when I see that I am finally allowed to edit my own posts.  Is that correct, or am I still not fully understanding these rules?

I don't know why you are so uptight about this. Relax, this is supported to be fun for all.  ;)  Like I said, I don't recall any new member making such a fuss about reaching the "mature" post count. Your post count currently shows 24. If you reply to me to chew me out, you'll be good to go!  :D

Besides the Lounge is not something wonderfully exciting anyways. It is not like a place where  the RR jocks hang out. Lots of silly non-model-train related stuff. And the original question of this thread has already been answered here anyways.

Editing posts does not increase the post count - only posting in the non-admin forums does (as I understand it).  The count ls live. Check your post count before and after posting something and it should be incremented.

Wondered what happened to him.

What a shame,, his decals were top notch, not to mention he was the only one to get a lot of road names not printed by anybody else.
Luckily, I have bought from him many times, no problems and with quick shipping.
