New Haven Passenger Consists - Osgood Bradley Coaches

I found a great film collection on YouTube of vintage New Haven - mostly passenger trains.  The film quality is poor, but the content shows many passenger train consists and first generation NH diesel passenger locomotives - lots of PAs, DL-109s, and C-Liners.  Now that many of us have the Osgood Bradley coaches in hand, this film shows many prototypical consists.  Cars seen include NH baggage cars, OB coaches, 8600 coaches (hopefully to come from Rapido), heavyweight parlors, sleepers, and diners.

Of interest is that most trains with 8600 coaches include both green and orange window bands.  I recently read that the 8600 coaches that were delivered with green window bands were converted to orange window bands in a very short time (maybe 3 months) in 1955.  If that is true, most of these films were shot during that window in 1955.  Much of the film was shot in and around Providence.

If you bought the NH OB coaches, this is a must see:

whew ... I'd say that film was taken by somebody who just bought a brand-new color movie camera. "Look! Wow! I got a (5 second) moving picture of THAT!"  If you edit it down to just the really decent in-focus shots and sequences (signal heads? really?) it'd be a good piece, maybe 25-35 minutes long.
